More Music!

8-Bit Gamer
My solo music project, Panda Plays Punk, has just put a new piece on YouTube and SoundCloud called "8-Bit Gamer." This time, I drew up some art to go with the song.
"Stargazer" - The song is now on iTunes...and practically every other online music store I could find... There's a player of the final version on the sidebar.
Here are the lyrics, an old demo, and a newer demo.
So please buy it! You'll have to search for it in iTunes, though. (Searching "Cracked Perspective" should work) Thanks!

New Vids on YouTube!

Yup, I got some music on YouTube after an eon or two. Here goes:
Stand!: This is the Panda Plays Punk way of making "inspirational" music. Piano, strings, fake synth-junk, and those poorly made keyboard-derived drums.
Stargazer: This is a song from my band, Cracked Perspective, which I have put up here before. The change: I have some art that goes with the song, and I now have the intention of putting the song on iTunes. Please comment on YouTube if you can; I'm using the critiques I get there to decide when/how I'll release this.  Update: It's live! http://kidinthestudio.blogspot.com/2011/07/more-music.html

Music From a Matrix

I'm back!
I was playing around a little with this software called iNudge. It is one of the most comprehensive dot-matrix music-making software I can think of. Here are a few loops that I made with it.

1.) http://inudge.net/#1ret
I was looking for how to make a minor chord with the dots. I didn't get the minor chords, but this is cool anyway.
2.) http://inudge.net/#23so5v
This is where I must commend iNudge's adding a 32-note-long matrix, twice the usual length, giving enough time for a point-counterpoint. You can't do that on other matrix programs.

Expect more fooling around with matrix-music
